Dan McCue has more than 35 years of business experience, with more than 25 years in the credit union industry.   Dan joined Alaska USA Federal Credit Union in 2009. As Senior Vice President of Corporate Administration, he oversees facilities, supply and distribution, compliance, and public relations. He handles regulatory and legislative activities for Alaska USA and is also a member and executive director of the Alaska USA Foundation.  Prior to 2009, Dan served as president of The Coca-Cola Company Family Federal Credit Union for more than 10 years.

Mark Edwards, Northrim Bank

Mark Edwards was born in Alaska, earned his bachelors from the University of Virginia majoring in Economics and a Masters Degree in International Business from Thunderbird, the American Graduate School of International Management. Mark served as Alaska’s Economist in DCCED, later became the Director of the Office of Economic Development.  He also worked as an Economist and Natural Gas Pipeline Coordinator for the Department of Revenue.  Currently he is a Vice President at Northrim Bank, a Commercial Loan Officer and the Bank’s Economist.  He is also an adjunct Professor of Economics at Alaska Pacific University.

Scott Hawkins is President and co-founder of Advanced Supply Chain International (ASCI) and Asset Management Services, where he has worked for the past 14 years.   Prior to ASCI, he operated his own business, ERDC, a management-and-economics consulting firm based in Anchorage.  Mr. Hawkins is also co-founder and managing director of HAI Shirokuma Tours, specializing in the Japanese visitor market.  He is a founder and past president of the Anchorage Economic Development Corporation and was a corporate economist for Alaska Pacific Bank, later Key Bank of Alaska, where he was on the senior management committee.  He is a former economics instructor at University of Alaska, Anchorage.

Wanetta Ayers, State of Alaska

Wanetta Ayers, State of Alaska, Board Member

Wanetta Ayers has worked in community, economic, and workforce development for more than twenty-five years.  Now she is the employer outreach coordinator for Alaska’s Workforce Investment Board where her primary responsibilities include working with industry groups and businesses to craft workforce development plans, developing apprenticeship and on-the-job training programs, and administering training funds for the oil and gas industry.  Ayers received an MBA from University of Washington and a BS in Business Administration from UAF. Wanetta has lived in Anchorage, Barrow, Fairbanks, Juneau, Kenai, and Kodiak. Four generations of her family call Alaska home.

Darren Meznarich, ConocoPhillips Alaska, Inc.

Darren Meznarich, ConocoPhillips Alaska, Inc., Board Member

Darren Meznarich is ConocoPhillips’ Alaska Gas Manager.  He manages the ANS gas commercialization team and also is responsbile for ConocoPhillips’ operations in the Cook Inlet.  He has been a member of the ACEE board since 2008.  Meznarich serves on the board of directors for Chugiak Youth Sports Association and Chairs the Alaska Council on Economic Education.  He earned a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering at Montana State in 1990 and a Master’s of Business Administration at Oklahoma State in 2000.  He lives with his wife and three young children in Eagle River, Alaska.
